Blizzarding in SK

Yep so its the first blizzard we've had in quite some time! and it is incredible! They even cancelled classes (not until 1:30 of course which is after the fact for all 4 of mine today). Was a challenge to get home with all 20,000 students trying to catch the buses at the same time, not to mention they were shutting down the buses too. I braved the cold, walked approx. 10 minutes through the storm to find my brother who was caught in a traffic jam across the campus. Long story short, about 2 hours from when my class ended, i finally found my brothers car and we were home in the warmth of our condo within the hour. The visibility is ridiculous, like 1 foot MAYBE. There were times on the way home when it was just pure white and you just hoped that you were still on the road. CRAZY. but this is what winter's all about! The drifts are huge and there is rumor that class is cancelled tomorrow too. WHich is really weird, because it is absolutely un-heard of to cancel class because of snow... let alone to cancel it for 2 days! guess we'll find out about it later. but yeah, thats the exciting news around here lately. here's a nice comparison to the last front-door shot i sent you.
