salut tout le monde!
update on life: my housemate that we took to emerg saturday night went home for the past 2 days, but has now returned with her mom to be admitted to hospital where she can get the help and supervision she needs. she HATES the hospital and has a phobia of needles...so she's not too thrilled that she's gunna be spending some time there, but she's also so zombie-ish that she can hardly even express herself or show emotion anymore. her mom's staying with us a few days so that will hopefully help out. but it's kinda cool now how God's given me the opportunity to now serve not only my housemate, but also her mom too during this not-so-great time.
worship workshop went much better than anticipated despite feeling horribly under-prepared and unorganized. a handful of ppl showed up, but it was large enough it wasn't awkward, but small enough that we ended up having discussions around worship, worship leading, and past experiences (contrary to my plan for the night). so praise God for that! I'll hopefully be able to organize one later in the semester after having some positive feedback about this one...
exam's tonight...and yes. i should be studying! so back to it...thanks everyone for the prayers/support! wynja can still use them hardcore right now too for her housemate (and herself as she's just been pouring continually and selflessly into her housemate especially since the semester started).

ive been MIA for the last little bit but catching up on your posts and my prayer debts now! =)
wow, Chara and Jess, you both... i am much amazed by your selflessness for your roommies, and much to learn from you both! will be praying 4 you guys!
much love!
woah...that is crazy. I will continue my prayers for your housemate. I am glad though that she is getting the help she needs (or at least trying to)
update on an update:
she's home now. the hospital doesn't have enough beds. gah...wow. it's definietely make me rethink how much i like the Canadian health-care system...it's there, but not accessible for ppl who REALLY REALLY need it!
so her mom's staying for a few days (which could be a good or bad thing...mom's not too stable either and has many of the same mal-adaptive coping strategies as my housemate does, which is one of the reasons i think she's ended up in the state she's in...at least that's what i've learned in my psyc courses. at least they're coming in handy!)
so we'll see how it goes! she smiled a few times today...so that's a huge improvement!
thanks for the shout out!
