Hello hello,
it has been a while and i actually don't have a lot of time to blog so this will be short. hmmm, well, i'm going to see starfield this thursday!! PUMPED! I'm going with a friend i haven't seen for almost six months... so iiii'm just a wee bit excited.
Well, after 4 months of stewing over whether or not to co-lead a dg.. i'm now co-leading. i'm trusting god knows what he's doing even if i dont.. aucune idee. But i've been finding since being back at school again and being involved with the ministry that god has been showing me so many lessons from the summer, and how much he's equipped me to be more commited. Just to explain a little, when i got home from montreal i had mixed feelings... some of my sentiments were kinda along the lines of.. "what just happened?" and also a little, "so god, are you sure you want me with c4c, cause i'm not sure i'm cut out for this crusadin' business?" the lessons have been pouring in. I've realized what he wants me to change in my attitudes towards a lot of areas in my life.. .how much he's been in control throughout feelings of absolute caos and confusion. So what seemed like a summer of..i dont even know what.. has taught me and continues to teach me so much. i find i'm learning the more and more the meaning of his grace, and my only role is to recieve... again..(i keep coming back here) i'm definately excited for the year. Well, i'm just excited in general.. hope you guys are doing well and that you keep posting cause its a highlight in my day.

im going to be co-leading too!! im excited!! i was supposed to be leading on my own, but the way the groups worked out we lumped three DG groups into just two. but im leading with this other girl who's so awesome, im looking forward to it!! last year, co-leading was a bit stretching with the dynamics between me and my co-leader, but so much to learn from each other too. keep us updated with how it goes!
That's awesome Em! APparently I'm coleading with a staff (-_-) which is going to be daunting. But good to hear that you've decided to make that commitment. I'm sure that you'll grow oodles cuz of it :)

i think you were in my dream last night...lol. along with my housemate's evil hamster. weird.
your excitement is contagious! i admit i've been more analytical and uncertain than excited these past 2 weeks about c4c ministry @ queen's. maybe it's just that jess and i are kinda in this weird we're-not-servent-team-but-kinda-have-the-same-imput-and-priviledges kind of deal. and everyone's still feeling out their roles...actually it's exactly like the 1st 2 weeks after staff left this summer now that i think about it...hmmm. funny that.
and you're gunna be an AMAZING dg-leader. wow....i'm excited for you!! i know God's been teaching you sooo so much, and now you'll be able to pass all that wisedom along to others to edify them as well. cool stuff!
