im just getting ready to take off for a weekend getaway to Cannon Beach in oregon... well, im catching a couple hours of sleep and we're leaving at 3am.... for a surfing adventure with a couple friends. yes, im in school... yes i have tons of homework... but i've decided to go anyways... if every time i get bogged down with homework i hide out in my cave til its done, ill never actually get around to spending time with my friends before taking off next year.
please keep me, ashley, dane and mike in prayer... for a safe drive down tonight and back on sunday, and safe surfing.... ashleys already gotten 9 stitches on 2 occasions in the last year from surfing. pray that we'll have a good, fun and safe weekend... and if God would have it, for opportunities to share Christ in a real way. i see ashley lots but dane's a good friend that i havent hung out with much since going to ubc, and this might be the last time for a while that we get to spend some quality time together!!
